As we prepare for the new year and the change in presidency, I leave you with this thought to close out 2024.
Your upbringing, your environment, your community and your family made this decision. Whether your all in or disagree completely, your country as a collective made this choice.
I think in the chaos that we've become familiar with during the election season, we forget that the traditions and values that people were raised up with help create to some degree who they are.
It has help mold their likes and dislikes. We can be upset or pretend to hate one another, when in reality, this is just another moment to teach with love and respect.
And break down those Generational curses in our families. It starts with each one of us individually.
Understanding that just like you, others were also raised a certain way or unconsciously was taught things. So instead of the ideology that we are fighting against someone that doesnt agree with us. Instead we need to acknowledge that they experienced or was taught this moral/tradition/value.
Changing the climate of our country by addressing what we were taught or passed down is how we come together to build a better America for ourselves and families. We have the opportunity daily to learn the right values and traditions from one another we just have to open our eyes and help open the eyes of others. Both sides of the aisle can bring great things. We just need to put them together properly.
