As you begin your curse slaying journey, it is important that every generational curse slayer starts their journeys from a place of grace. When you Google the word "grace", the definitions that appear are simple elegance or refinement of movement. But my favorite definition that appears is courteous goodwill. Regardless of the traumatic experience that you encountered to bring you to this point of discovering change, you are doing something that others will take notice of. Which means you are showing a courteous goodwill gesture to others.
What it means to show grace during your curse slaying journey is to be empathetic to those that paved a way for you. Just like you someone before them paved a way and handed down some set of instructions. I know the road they paved, that you were given was the most backwoods country road known to man. However, your curiosity helped you find alternate routes to your destination. The era that you were raised in, also aided in your ability to be a bit more curious and discover forward thinking solutions.
Back when granny and pop pop were growing up, they might not have had access to the internet, higher education, or to a world outside of their backyard. So they probably got by on what most call "good ole hard work". They knew what they knew and just worked hard at that. That might have brought them peace. For you however, you've seen the limitless options that the world can provide. And that drives your ambition, motivation, and determination to grasp at a different type of "peace" of your owns.
One day the tables will turn and you will be on the opposite end of age spectrum. The world would have advanced even more as you know it. Which means there will be new tricks and hacks to the instructions that you passed down or told to others. And just like you, those young slayers, will need your support and wisdom to move forward in their journeys. So if you are a believer of karma, move with grace in your curse slaying journey and grace will be returned to you.
